Spaces & isolation

A space is a self-contained business environment: its own agents, contacts, leads, content, billing, team, brand, and audit trail. Nothing leaks between spaces.

A space is the boundary around one whole operation in AnyBot. Everything you do (building agents, capturing leads, generating content, inviting teammates, spending your token allowance) happens inside a space, and stays there. Two spaces on the same account can't see each other's data. That clean separation is what lets one account run many businesses at once.

What a space isolates

A space owns each of these, and never shares them with another space:

  • Agents: the AI agents you build, train, and connect to channels.
  • Knowledge: the documents and crawled pages your agents answer from.
  • Contacts & leads: everyone who talks to your agents, and the leads they capture.
  • Content & media: the Materials Library, generated posts, and images made in the space.
  • Usage: the space's own activity and history. (Your ABT allowance is metered at the account level across all your spaces, not isolated per space; see below.)
  • Team: the people you invite and the role each one holds.
  • Brand: the logo, colors, and business profile applied across the space.
  • Audit trail: a record of every change made inside it.

If you delete a contact, retrain an agent, or connect an integration, it affects that one space and nothing else on your account.

The space switcher

Every account starts with one space, created for you the first time you sign in. From then on, a space switcher in the app header lets you hop between the spaces you belong to, whether you created them or were invited. Your current space frames everything on screen: the agents you see, the inbox, the analytics, the billing meter, and the team list all belong to it. Switch spaces and the whole view changes to that space's world. Your account remembers a default space so you land in the right place each time.

One space per client

Because a space is a complete isolation boundary, the natural unit is one space per client, brand, or business unit. An agency running five clients keeps five spaces: five separate agent rosters, five contact lists, five audit trails, with no chance of one client's data surfacing in another's. (Billing is the exception: ABT is metered at the account level, so an account's spaces draw on one shared allowance (one bill), and worth knowing when you plan usage.) Each space also carries its own team, so you can add a client's staff to their space without giving them any view into your other accounts.

You create additional spaces with the Space Creation Wizard. See Create your space for the full walkthrough. How many you can run at once depends on your plan.

Nothing leaks across spaces

Isolation isn't a convention you have to remember. It's enforced everywhere. Every record in AnyBot is stamped with the space it belongs to, and every request runs in the context of one space, so a query in Space A can't reach into Space B by design. The same holds for the people involved: membership is granted per space, so being invited to one space gives no access to any other. Roles and per-member permissions then decide what each teammate can do within that space, covered in Roles & permissions. And because every mutation is written to that space's audit log, you always have an isolated, space-scoped record of who changed what.
