Import from the Marketplace

Import a ready-made agent from the Agents Market into your space, see what carries over, and customize it like any agent you built yourself.

The Agents Market (Marketplace) is a catalogue of ready-made agents you can copy into your space and make your own. Instead of starting from a blank agent, you pick one that already has a persona, knowledge, and skills wired up, import it, and adjust from there. Importing is open and instant; publishing your own agents is a curated process with the AnyBot team.

Browse and find one

Open Marketplace from the sidebar. Each listing is a card with the agent's avatar, tagline, and badges for its category, role, and style. Open one to see the full detail page: a description, the model it was tuned for, its abilities (skills), any required integrations, and the knowledge files it ships with, plus stats for imports, likes, files, and add-ons.

To narrow the catalogue, use the toolbar:

  • Search by name or keyword.
  • Category and pricing (all, free, or paid).
  • Sort by popular, top rated, newest, price, or name.
  • More filters for tag, role, style, model, or "with knowledge" (listings that include knowledge files).

You can like or dislike a listing to signal what worked for you. Likes feed the Top rated sort, while the Popular sort ranks by import count.

Import an agent

  1. Open the listing and review its abilities, integrations, and files.
  2. Click Import. (For a paid listing you'll Purchase first through Stripe checkout; once bought, the button becomes Import.)
  3. In the dialog, name the agent. It pre-fills with the listing's name; change it if you like.
  4. Choose the space to import into. If you belong to one space it's picked for you; otherwise select from the list.
  5. If the listing needs integrations you'll set up by hand, a heads-up appears listing them. Confirm Import.

The agent is copied into your space and a summary shows exactly what came across.

What carries over

An import is a full copy. The new agent is independent of the listing and of anyone else who imported it. It brings:

  • The agent itself: its persona and the model it was built with, under the name you chose. (Detailed guardrail settings aren't all copied. Imported agents start with answer-only-from-knowledge on; tune the rest after import.)
  • Knowledge files: the listing's knowledge base documents are imported and re-indexed for your space. The summary shows how many landed.
  • Abilities (skills): the skills the agent uses come along.
  • Integrations: split in two. Skills that need no external account are installed automatically. Ones that need your credentials (a calendar, a CRM, an email inbox) can't be shared, so they're listed as pending for you to connect.

What does not carry over is anyone else's data: conversations, memory, leads, and analytics all start empty. You're importing a starting point, not someone's live agent.

Finish connecting integrations

If the import summary lists pending integrations, connect each one before those abilities work. Click Set up next to an integration to open the connect flow and sign in with your own account, or jump straight to the agent's Integrations tab with Go to integrations. Until an integration is connected, the skills that depend on it stay idle. The rest of the agent works normally.

Customize after import

From the summary, click View agent to open the editor. The imported agent behaves like any other, so every tab is yours to change:

  • Knowledge Base: add your own pages and documents, or remove the sample ones.
  • AI Options: switch the model, tone, and persona to match your brand.
  • Skills: turn abilities on or off and adjust their settings.
  • Memory and Guardrails: set what it remembers and the limits it must respect.

Every edit is versioned, so experiment freely and roll back if a change makes things worse. When it reads right, open the test chat and try it before connecting a channel.

Publishing your own

Built something worth sharing? Publishing to the Marketplace is curated. You work with the AnyBot team rather than self-publishing openly, which keeps catalogue quality high.

FAQ

Is importing free? Many listings are free. Paid ones check out through Stripe; once purchased, you can import them.

Does importing change the original? No. You get an independent copy. Editing it never affects the listing or other people's imports.

Why is an integration still not working after import? It's probably a pending integration that needs your own account. Open the agent's Integrations tab and connect it.

Can I re-import to get an update? Importing again creates a new agent; it doesn't merge into the one you already customized.
