The Email integration gives your agent tools to work a connected mailbox: list accounts, read the inbox, open a message, search, and, unless the account is read-only, send, reply, mark read and move messages. All eight tools are owner-only. This is distinct from the Email channel, where inbound mail threads into the shared inbox.

Safe by design
All eight email tools are owner-only, a public visitor can never trigger them. A per-account read-only setting hides the four write tools, and mailbox credentials are never exposed to the model.

Is this the same as the Email channel?
They share a connection but differ: the channel threads inbound mail into your inbox; these tools let the agent read and act on a mailbox for you.
Can I keep it read-only?
